What this site is

A free reference that tells you which chain fits a chainsaw: pitch, gauge, drive links and part numbers, taken from charts published by chain and saw makers. How we use those charts is explained on How we source.

Check before you cut

Makers change parts and charts contain errors. Before you buy or fit a chain, compare it with the chain on your saw and with your owner's manual. A wrong chain can jump off the bar or break. Always follow the safety instructions of your saw and wear protective gear.

No warranty

The site is provided as is. We do our best to keep it correct but we do not guarantee that every value is accurate or current. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for damage that comes from using the information here.

Trademarks

Oregon, STIHL, Husqvarna and every other brand and model name on this site belong to their owners. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them. Names are used only to say which saw or chain a page is about.
